Sometimes when you shoot a concert you are working with really rotten lighting, or distance issues. You just have a tought time. Last night I got both of those. I was shooting a second show by my brother's band 210toLowell at The Park Bar and Grill in Burbank. Perhaps the tiniest place I have ever tried to shoot a concert.
There is no lighting system to speak of, just some lights. The singer was 4.5 feet from my spot at the bar. I shot with my ISO ramped up to 6000, F2.8 at 1/50th of a second, and I expected to get some REALLY crappy shots.
Well, after looking at them, it wasn't so bad. Here's another batch of the gang from 210toLowell. My brother rocks!
